They are often persecuted, treated cruelly and endure terrible suffering.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p><strong>The program is available ONLY TO WILD FERAL CATS who cannot be touched or handled and must come to the clinic in traps.<\/strong>\u00a0 These are not stray, friendly cats!<\/p>\n<p><strong>TNR STANDS FOR TRAP NEUTER RETURN:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The most effective, humane, long term method of population control is to trap, neuter and return them to their home territory.\u00a0 Relocation is a poor option because they simply hit the road to get back home, like you or I would. And they suffer and rarely make it on the way.<\/p>\n<h2>Fees and treatments:<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Feral package: $40<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>Includes<\/strong> the spay or neuter surgery, distemper (FVRCP combo) vaccination, antibiotic injection, flea treatment, a tattoo at the incision site and a <a href=\"https:\/\/spayneuter.org\/wordpress\/?page_id=2777\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">mandatory ear tip<\/a>. Sutures do not need to be removed.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2>How to schedule your feral appointment:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>NEVER SET A TRAP WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT!<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>All feral cats must have scheduled appointments<\/strong>.\u00a0We understand you may not be successful capturing the cat(s) but appointments are required. If you follow our trapping instructions carefully, your capture success rate will improve dramatically.<strong><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Call our clinic at 541-858-3325 to schedule feral appointments. If you are leaving a message state you are calling about ferals.
