Your own pet cat can become feral quickly, learning to fear and stay away from people. Every feral cat originated from an unfixed pet at some point in their lineage.\u00a0\u00a0Hence, the importance of fixing every single house cat cannot be overemphasized!<\/p>\n<p>Feral cats live in colonies and defend their turf or territory. Territory is perhaps the most important thing to a cat. Knowledge of their territory, where there is food and water, dogs, cars, hiding spots, other cats etc. enable cats to survive.
