6 simple ways to get involved
They are easy, they work, they help save lives.
1 – Get your pets spayed or neutered. Each animal you fix can translate into dozens of animals within just one year! So the one you DO fix DOES make a difference.
2 – Encourage or help, a friend or neighbor to get their pet fixed. Every pet fixed = lives saved.
4 – If you feed ’em, fix ’em. Those who feed strays may think they are helping, but in fact they are adding to the huge cat overpopulation problem. If you feed a stray or know someone who is, call SNYP today for a Fix It Ticket.
5 – Adopt an animal from your local shelter. Rescued pets make the best companions, and if you want a pure-bred, over 25% of dogs entering shelters are pure-breeds.
6 – Volunteer. SNYP volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization! Visit our volunteer page to find your passion.
