Feb. Feral Cat Clinic results – 100+ cats fixed!

ONCE AGAIN, ANOTHER FABULOUS SNYP FERAL FIX-A-THON– 100+ WILD CATS FIXED !!!

We did it again! Thanks to the fantastic team effort of 50 plus determined volunteers. It takes a village!!

And some really good luck. The weather gods smiled on us and we dodged the predicted wet weather. The cat gods smiled upon the trappers who brought in a big ‘crop’ of cats. Our Fixathon Machine ran like greased lightning! 108 kitties fixed in 4.5 hours! 58 girls and 50 boys. Every cat was examined, fixed, treated for fleas, ear tipped, given antibiotics, and monitored while recovering. Each one was loved. And voila, by 5 pm the hospital was clean, the cats all discharged, the recovery tents down and folded, the parking lot was cleared…

And there was no trace left of the miracle that just took place:
over 900 kittens will be spared a hard life with a lot of suffering. And that’s a conservative estimate. More importantly, next year those kittens will not produce 7 thousand more kittens….and on and on.
